My job as Sales Representative at Silhouette
I represent and promote the Silhouette brand in Paris. At the beginning of the week, I usually plan the rest of it. That means that I set up appointments with our eye care professionals, prepare for meetings and see to it that administrative tasks are taken care of. On all the other days I dedicate myself, so to speak, to the key part of my job – personal contact with our customers, the eye care professionals. I visit them regularly so that they can become familiarized with our (new) products and assist them with any questions they may have regarding our portfolio.
What is especially important for my job
I would say that you need to be well organized. You can pretty much organize this job and the schedule yourself, but you have to be willing to do so. We have a company structure that is of great help to us, but you must be self-motivated. You work mostly independently, planning your week yourself, and in general, you start and end the workday by yourself. You just have to like that kind of thing.
And the best thing about it
What I really, really like about my job is the independence, the autonomy and freedom. I can set up my schedule and organize my job the way I would like to have it.
