My job at Silhouette International
I work in sales for Silhouette, servicing the regions of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. Everything begins with me coordinating meetings with our customers over the phone to plan my daily agendas. When visiting shops, we set sales targets mutually and contemplate how we can present the brand on site such that it moves into the focus of end consumers. While doing so, I transfer my excitement for the Silhouette brand to the customers. I persuade them of the advantages: highest quality, top service, optimal assistance from the sales department, with all this coming together to secure financial success.
How I got here
After attending commercial college and completing a commercial apprenticeship, I began working in sales at a Swiss company. One could say I learned sales from scratch there, and was also working in the lens industry three years later. In 1985, Silhouette was looking for an employee to handle sales in Germany. That was my first time in Linz, and I've been a part of the Silhouette family since January 1986.
What I especially like
I have customer partnerships that have spanned several decades. They've practically accompanied me throughout my life. The people enjoy receiving me on my visits. They like to see me - and I like to see them.
