„What life has to teach us is important, so always be open.“
Since 1995 at Silhouette in the Czech Republic
I started off working in a nursery and really loved the job, but after a few years I realized that I also wanted to do something else. I went off in a new direction and studied accounting for a year and also started learning German. It was a lucky break that that was the time when Silhouette International opened its subsidiary in Trhové Sviny in the Czech Republic. My chance came and I jumped at it. I have been here from the beginning and have been able to grow closely together with the company.
I head a department of seven employees. Together we take care of human resources, payroll and all the bookkeeping. That includes all administrative tasks, reporting, statistical analyses and everything having to do with finance. To sum it up, you could say: It starts with timekeeping and ends with the balancing of accounts.
The coolest thing about it
The coolest thing about my job is the variety of tasks. My work changes from day to day. I think it’s great never knowing exactly what’s going to happen and that I always have to be ready to accept and master new challenges.
