BI started more than 30 years ago in production, back then in metal polishing, and later went to the final inspection of synthetics. In 1995, I started working in the Optician Service and Repair department. Having started in production translates into a lot of advantages for me today. I could follow the creation of a pair of glasses across all stages there and get an excellent overview – something that benefits our customers all over the world today.

What I do there
My department is, as the name days, all about repairing glasses. We service end customers as well as “our” opticians – and customer satisfaction is our top priority. Beyond that, we also handle custom-made articles, progress control as well as the support for our customer and partners via mail and over the phone.




The coolest thing about my job
The best thing about it is that I work with a lot of nice people, make customers happy and, above all, that I can work independently.
