„It is very important to love what you do.“
How I came to Silhouette
I studied business administration and management, specializing in marketing and communications – I loved it right from the start. Afterwards, I completed postgraduate studies in finance & accounting and began working in a large PR agency with well-known clients. That is where I knew that I would rather be on the customer side in order to have control over the branding strategy. So, I switched to the marketing department of a big international insurance company. And finally, 13 years ago, I became a member of the Silhouette family.
I’m responsible for the sales and marketing of Silhouette and the adidas licensed brand in Spain. That comprises many areas of responsibility such as marketing strategy implementation, keeping close contact with our customers and giving them support with regard to publicity and events. Then there are PR activities, of course, and event organization and primarily close coordination with our sales representatives, supplying them with info material, presenting them the latest trends and collections and being there for them when there are questions to be answered.
The best thing about it
I really have a lot of different tasks in my job. No day is alike, and you never get bored. That is the coolest thing about my job.
