My job at Silhouette
As a sales representative, I am often on the road. My sales area is the region around Milan. I visit our customers, present and sell our products to them and advise them when any questions come up. Of course, I also try to expand our customer base. What is cool is that I am responsible myself for arranging my working day, yet am still part of the team.
How I got to where I am
It all began 15 years ago. I was actually just filling in for someone on maternity leave and then everything changed completely. At first I worked in technical support, then switched to internal sales, later to the field sales force and then five years ago, I finally got the opportunity to sell the whole Silhouette collection throughout the entire region as a sales rep.
What is special about my job
My day already needs to be well organized before I even leave the house in the morning. I can’t simply jump into my work. I need to know exactly which customers I’ll be meeting, what I will be discussing with them, which products I’ll be presenting, etc. I need to know my products and, of course, my customers extremely well. That brings with it a lot of diversification. The best thing about my job is the variety.
